Course info

This course is a multi-skills approach to language learning at the upper intermediate level through the use of the textbook, American English File 3. Classroom activities and additional course materials will incorporate and reinforce vocabulary acquisition, listening comprehension, speaking fluency, and writing skills. There is a strong emphasis on communicative activities, and students will participate in general conversation, class discussion, pair-work, and role-plays. These communicative activities will also provide opportunities to learn about American culture within a language learning context.
